Let us introduce ourselves. We are a new club for Havanese lovers in North and South
Carolina, designed for everyone from a newbie with their first pet Havanese to seasoned breeders that compete in the conformation
ring.
We are a collection of Havanese lovers that want to create an open, friendly group. We
want to educate ourselves on the Havanese breed standard, health issues, and future of the breed. But we also want to remember
how fun these dogs are, so we plan to have cookouts and play dates spread out through the year at various locations in North
and South Carolina.

Our
dear friend and club member, Kathi Swann, lost her battle with cancer on Thursday, August 28, 2008. She was a special lady
with a great love of dogs and the fancy. She will be sorely missed. Go in peace, Kathi.
